XFS uses block 0 of a partition, so you can only boot if the bootloader stage1
code resides in the MBR on an x86 platform.
so three questions stay: for yast2-bootloader
- does it now work on openSUSE factory
- does the upgrade code handle this gracefully (XFS on/ or /boot)
- does the repair functionality work in case of problems
