To answer your question: yes, I am using a hub, and yes, it works if I plug the printer directly. To be more precise: I only have one built-in usb2.0-port in my notebook (and 2 usb1-ports), and I have quite a zoo of usb-devices (mouse, keyboard, digicam, printers, scanner, harddisk, mp3-player, usb-sticks, etc), so I have 3 (cheap "Hama"/Genesys Logic, Inc.) hubs connected to the native usb2.0-port (also, as it might be important: I have 2 cables with 5 meters length connected to the port, with one of the hubs as a "repeater" in between). It works without problems, if I connect the stuff directly, using one usb2.0- and one usb1.0-port of the built in ports. As said before, everything works fine too without ehci_hcd (which kind of narrowed out the cable length as a reason for the error as I read that usb1.0 should be even more sensitive to that). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
