I still have that partition intact, if you want me to run some tests... I could
try to run agan xfs_repair on it, to see if anything changed on 10.3
[...]
Yes, something has changed. It doesn't crash now. The part of the output I have
been able to save from the xterm buffer is this, excerpted (on file if you want
it):
disconnected dir inode 46144141, moving to lost+found
disconnected dir inode 46144142, moving to lost+found
disconnected dir inode 46170776, moving to lost+found
disconnected dir inode 46170791, moving to lost+found
..
disconnected dir inode 59106176, moving to lost+found
disconnected dir inode 59106177, moving to lost+found
Phase 7 - verify and correct link counts...
cache_purge: shake on cache 0x80df0b0 left 2 nodes!?
resetting inode 128 nlinks from 3 to 4
resetting inode 168 nlinks from 6 to 2
resetting inode 187 nlinks from 6 to 4
..
resetting inode 58859283 nlinks from 3 to 2
resetting inode 58859288 nlinks from 3 to 2
resetting inode 58859292 nlinks from 3 to 2
resetting inode 58859311 nlinks from 3 to 2
resetting inode 58859314 nlinks from 3 to 2
- 20:52:25: verify and correct link counts - 30016 of 30016 inodes
done
cache_purge: shake on cache 0x80df0b0 left 2 nodes!?
cache_purge: shake on cache 0x80df0b0 left 2 nodes!?
done
But a second run still finds errors. And a third, and a fourth... it gets
further, but xfs_repair is still unable to repair this partition. There still
is something broken in the repair utility if it can not fully repair a
partition.
I'll attach the logs I have (from today).
