I remember this bug in 10.2 too. To reproduce, just start a new installation (you don't have to actually install anything), enter the Boot Loader options, change from Grub to LILO (proposing a new configuration) and try to edit the menu entries - the boxes will be blank. Typing a new name for an entry won't actually change it either. Installing on Athlon X2 PC from DVD, in graphics mode, 32-bit version.
