https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=340133 Summary: KRDC4 does not close connection properly Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: ma2412ma@hotmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- I've started x11vnc on a remote server. I can connect using KRDC4 for the first time. However, when I click the close connection button and try to log in again, the password field is displayed and always shows the error message "authentication failed". The problem is that after pressing the disconnect button, the connection is not properly closed, because x11vnc doesn't say that the client is gone. Furthermore, the second login with KRDC does work if I start x11vnc with -shared, but then more than one client is connected. Other VNC clients such as Chicken of the VNC on Mac OS X properly close the connection and I'm able to log in again. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
