https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=335519 Summary: ICH9R RAID going Offline on HALT Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel AssignedTo: kernel-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: christian_witt@web.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Customer Dear ladys and gentleman! I use a Gigabyte P35C-DS3R Mainboard with an ICH9R Chipset and two disks in RAID1 On the Installation of OpenSUSE 10.3 the Raid was successfully detected. The installation works fine. After the Reboot I can work with my new OpenSUSE running on the RAID. If I reboot the System everything works fine too. If I type 'halt' (and restart the Computer maybe 2 minutes or 24 hours later) the RAID is going Offline and doesn't appear in the BIOS or the Mainboard-Controller. The result is that it's unpossible to boot or work with the Hardware-raid. I use 2 Samsung disks and run OpenSUSE 10.3 x86-64 on an Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 With kindly regards Christian Witt -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
