there is nothing special in the logs when trying to mount /dev/hda1. But i
found the solution. If i mount /dev/mapper/pdc-something everything is fine.
Well it´s possibly my fault. I configured every single disk on the promise as
a volume just containing one disk (stripe 0 mode i think). This is because if i
don´t configure the disks the scanning process of the promise tooks more time.
I suppose /dev/hdX is just the physical disk, /dev/mapper/pdc-something the
logical disk. With SuSE 10.2 it seems it doesn´t matter what block device to
use, with 10.3 there is some difference.
I see no reason not to close this bug.
