Yes, I can reproduce this. In the meantime I did a fresh install of openSUSE
10.3 on my T60p. Seems like libthinkfinger and pam_thinkfinger were installed
automatically. Even /etc/pam.d/common-auth already included the line for
pam_thinkfinger.
But as soon as I assign a fingerprint (via tf-tool --add-user "login") to the
user I use to login into KDE and reboot, KDM crashes when I try to login with
this username (by suppling a password).
If I use a user account which has no fingerprint assigned, KDM won't crash. If
I remove the user1.bir file from /etc/pam_thinkfinger and reboot, I can use
'user1' again to login to KDE without crashing KDM.
