https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=327607 Summary: Automatic download of corrupt rpms during install Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: bjorn.lie@gmail.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: Other Since online repos are now enabled (as default) during/before installation, how about setting up a function that downloads a non broken rpm from the web in case there has been a bad burn. What I mean is that if any of the rpms on the cd/dvd fails integrity check, why not ask the user if should be downloaded from the web. This way the user still gets to install the OS. Without having to burn the iso again or mayby even re-download it. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
