https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=309155 Summary: Bad Resolution : 19 wide-screen TFT LCD - Native Resolution: 1440 x 900 Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Beta 3 Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: SaX2 AssignedTo: ms@novell.com ReportedBy: jpmartinlinux@free.fr QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Beta-Customer During the installation, yast2 find my screen Belinea B1925S1W in 16/10 mode. Sax2 find 1280*1024. But the default resolution is not the native resolution. When I change it in sax2 (1440*900) and restart the computer, I have got 1440*900 in sax2 but 1152*864 @ 55,9kHz : 59.9Hz on the menu of my belinea (osd indication) . I have got a very bad configuration. Actually, in sax2, my opensuse 10.2 have got : 1440*900 (wxga) with @56kHz : 60Hz (indication of sax2 and belinea). The screen work fine. Questions : 1) why yast2 choose a bad 16/10 configuration ? 1280*1024 is not a native 16/10 mode. During the installation, yat2 detect the wide screen as a 16/10 screen. 2) Why sax2 doesn't save the configuration ? 3) Why can't we change the resolution in kde control ? (not yet implemended) Thanks for all -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
