I tried to explain it in my first comment. weak-modules makes sure that kABI
compatible kernel modules of kmp packages are symlinked, so that they are still
found by the update kernel. IIRC weak-modules has been written by agruen and is
an important part of our KMP mechanism. I hope you won't kill it for openSUSE
just to save some space on the CDs. Adding Susanne.
