https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=304933 Summary: Should not ask to re-add printer which is already added Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Beta 1 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Printing AssignedTo: jsmeix@novell.com ReportedBy: federico@novell.com QAContact: jsmeix@novell.com Found By: Development I have an USB printer which I connect and disconnect from my laptop frequently. The first time I plugged the printer I configured it; I think auto-detection worked fine. The printer has remained ever since in the CUPS configuration. However, every time I plug the same printer again, I get asked if I want to add the "new" printer. The system should detect that I already have a configuration for that printer, and it should not ask me again. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
