--- Comment #6 from Frank-Michael Fischer 2007-08-11 22:37:06 MST ---
ip a l on 10.2:
1: lo: mtu 16436 qdisc noqueue
link/loopback 00:00:00:00:00:00 brd 00:00:00:00:00:00
inet 127.0.0.1/8 scope host lo
2: eth0: mtu 1500 qdisc pfifo_fast qlen 1000
link/ether 10:33:22:44:77:66 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
inet 192.168.178.99/24 brd 192.168.178.255 scope global eth0
3: wifi0: mtu 1500 qdisc pfifo_fast qlen 199
link/ieee802.11 00:03:2f:39:a4:b4 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
4: ath0: mtu 1500 qdisc noqueue
link/ether 00:03:2f:39:a4:b4 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
inet 192.168.0.14/24 brd 192.168.0.255 scope global ath0
ip a l on 10.3b1:
1: lo: mtu 16436 qdisc noqueue
link/loopback 00:00:00:00:00:00 brd 00:00:00:00:00:00
inet 127.0.0.1/8 scope host lo
2: eth0: mtu 1500 qdisc noop qlen 1000
link/ether 66:77:44:22:33:10 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
ip a l on 10.3b1 after fiddling manually with /etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg-eth0
and yast2 lan:
1: lo: mtu 16436 qdisc noqueue
link/loopback 00:00:00:00:00:00 brd 00:00:00:00:00:00
inet 127.0.0.1/8 scope host lo
2: eth0: mtu 1500 qdisc pfifo_fast qlen 1000
link/ether 66:77:44:22:33:10 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
inet 192.168.178.99/24 brd 192.168.178.255 scope global eth0
yast2 lan provides strange error message now, viz coming attachment. But I do
not think this is worth another bugzilla entry, since it comes up after manual
fiddling with ifcfg-eth0 only.
network functions now, actually using it for entering this comment.
