https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=299209 Summary: currently running OS not correctly detected Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Beta 1 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: funtasyspace@yahoo.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Created an attachment (id=156762) --> (https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=156762) screenshot of restart menu I have the following operating systems installed on my machine: openSUSE 10.2 on /dev/sda6 openSUSE 10.3 on /dev/sda8 If I am on openSUSE 10.3 and go in Kickoff (KDE Menu) to 'Leave' > 'Start Operating System' then the "(current)" indicator is wrong. It suggests that I'm currently running openSUSE 10.2 on /dev/sda6, which is definitely not true. I don't know if there is any detection of the currently running OS at all, maybe the "(current)" indicator is always shown for the first entry in the list? See the attached screenshot for further explanation. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
