Hey Geniuses,
Is usbfs turned on in the current openSUSE 10.2 ISOs? I just downloaded and
installed openSUSE 10.2 and can't access my memory stick.
MoronIac:/media # dmesg
usb 2-1: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 13
usb 2-1: new device found, idVendor=058f, idProduct=6362
usb 2-1: new device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=3
usb 2-1: Product: Mass Storage Device
usb 2-1: Manufacturer: Generic
usb 2-1: SerialNumber: 058F312D81A
usb 2-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
MoronIac:/media # lsusb
Bus 002 Device 013: ID 058f:6362 Alcor Micro Corp.
MoronIac:/media # mount -t usbfs /dev/bus/usb/002/013 stick
mount: unknown filesystem type 'usbfs'
Must I compile my kernel to fix this issue?
Monkey,
Dale E. Moore
PS: I thought 10.2 ISOs would be fixed since 3/9.
