Summary: new intel driver ignores Fn+F4 hotkey switch
           Product: openSUSE 10.3
           Version: Alpha 7
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P5 - None
         Component: X.Org
        AssignedTo: sndirsch@xxxxxxxxxx
        ReportedBy: kerekfyp@xxxxxxxx
         QAContact: xorg-maintainer-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
          Found By: ---

The new intel driver do not switch to external display when I press Fn+F4 on my
laptop. However Xorg.0.log indicates that the driver recognizes the hotkey and
it also detects the external display but it wont switch it on. It worked in
10.2 with i810 driver.

If I switch to a console tty then the Fn+F4 hotkey works again. It seems that
the BIOS initiates the switch correctly but Xorg ignores it.
