It could indeed be that gcc in FACTORY doesn't support C99 inline functions.
I'll thus assign the bug to our gcc folks.
For the time being remove the -Werror from the compiler flags. This turns the
warning into an error and building fails.
Could please also attach the preprocessed source of the failing file? To get
that, add -save-temps to the compiler flags and attach (possibly compressed)
the resulting callbacks.i .
