https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=287672 Summary: unable to edit instsource url in running system Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: PowerPC OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: yast2-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: olh@novell.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- fresh 10.2 install. used cmdline was: "install=hd:///openSUSE-10.2-RC5/iso/openSUSE-10.2-RC5-DVD-ppc.iso quiet sysrq=1 panic=42" The install was done onto a firewire disk. The install iso was on another firewire disk. Tince the order of device discovery is undefined, the kernel names of the firewire disks change during reboot. Editing the url for the iso image gives just a simple, empty HD: popup. I expected the full string as shown in the list of available installation sources. This works for the update URL, but not for the install URL. see screenshot. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
