[Bug 284849] opensuseupdater-gnome complains about lacking notification area

It was already tried for SuSEWatcher in opensuse 9.3 and it's not reliable. The systray icon was one of the main motivations to do a GNOME version of opensuseupdater, so this has to be fixed once for all. All other applets properly work without warnings, so I don't see any reason it should be different for opensuseupdater-gnome. For example, how the loading is managed by the screen resolution applet in sled? Or by the volume applet?
