https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=272267 Summary: perl-Bootloader update creates empty entries in grub menu Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Update Problems AssignedTo: aosthof@novell.com ReportedBy: jdelvare@novell.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com The last kernel update for openSuse 10.2 (2.6.18.2-3) drew an update of perl-Bootloader (0.4.14-1.2). This version has problems when I install self-compiled kernels on my system. When I install custom kernels on my system, I run "make install" from the kernel source tree, and so far it was working well and adding an entry to my grub menu as intended. But with perl-Bootloader-0.4.14-1.2, each time I do that, it doesn't add one, but two entries to /boot/grub/menu.lst. The second one is correct, but the first one lacks a title. I'll attach the resulting menu.lst file. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
