https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=271559 Summary: Update to 2.6.18.8-0.3-xen removed GRUB boot options on update Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: greg.riedesel@wwu.edu QAContact: qa@suse.de After updating to the just released 2.6.18.8-0.3-xen kernel, the update script failed to transfer boot options from the existing Xen config to the updated one. Unlike past updates it DID correctly identify the right Xen lines and update them, rather than leaving 'extra' entries for older kernels that don't exist. On the other hand, it did not bring forward added kernel parameters. Specifically in this case "agp=off" was not moved to the new load. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
