Suspend to disk does not work on my Thinkpad T60:
First, /etc/pm/hooks/30s2disk-check complained about a missing suspend= parameter (this might be related to the problem that I was unable to create a swap partition during initial installation), so I added suspend=/dev/sda6 (my swap partition) using the Yast Bootloader module.
Now, I get the following error message: ===== Sat Mar 10 17:23:00 CET 2007: running hook: /etc/pm/hooks/30s2disk-check
INFO: checking for suspend-to-disk prerequisites... ERROR: resume partition '/dev/hda6' not active, can not suspend
It looks like you added "resume=/dev/hda6", not "resume=/dev/sda6". You can simply change this in /boot/grub/menu.lst
WARNING: /var/run/pm-utils.inhibit will be created to prevent suspending!
I am unable to find any information regarding this error.

You need to enter the swap in /etc/fstab like this: /dev/sda6 swap swap defaults 0 0 Reboot after that (and after changing the resume= parameter) and try again. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
