https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=249353 Summary: installation source problems without network connectivity Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: i586 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: marco.pallotta@unipg.it QAContact: jsrain@novell.com I have configured 4 installation sources: 1) http://gd.tuwien.ac.at/linux/suse.com/suse/update/10.2 (on) 2) ftp://download.nvidia.com/opensuse/10.2 (on) 3) iso:///?iso=openSUSE-10.2-GM-DVD-I386.iso (on) 4) packman repository (off) When the internet connectivity is ok all runs with no problem. But when I haven't network connectivity surces 1) and 2) becomes "inactive" (and this is ok). Then if I access through yast to "installation sources" I receive the errors: Curl error for: ftp://download.nvidia.com/opensuse/10.2/repodata/repomd.xml: Error code: Connection failed Error message: Couldn't resolve host 'download.nvidia.com' Curl error for: http://gd.tuwien.ac.at/linux/suse.com/suse/update/10.2/repodata/repomd.xml: Error code: Connection failed Error message: Couldn't resolve host 'gd.tuwien.ac.at' Curl error for: http://packman.iu-bremen.de/suse/10.2/repodata/repomd.xml: Error code: Connection failed Error message: Couldn't resolve host 'packman.iu-bremen.de' And finally a pop-up that tells me that "there were errors when restoring the source configuration. not all sources are available for configuration". Finally it tells me "do you want to immediately remove these sources?". I press the "no" button but the next thing I see is yast that dropped these sources showing me in "configured software catalogs" only iso source, that is the only one active. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
