Summary: "add note to y2log" shortcut
Product: openSUSE 10.3
Version: Alpha 1
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Enhancement
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Installation
AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Sometimes during installation (especially if betatesting and re-checking a
specific bug), it's useful to add a notice to the y2log.

Currently I do this by using
echo "note: this and that" >> /var/log/YaST2/y2log
but it is not really comfortable because I have to switch to a tty.

I'd suggest to add a new shortcut that allows to enter a note that is then
added to the y2log. It should be available with a Fn key similar to the "save
y2logs" and "enable debugging" dialogs.

Another suggestion, which is meant serious even if it sounds funny ;-)

Please add a messagebox showing all available "secret" keys as listed on (and maybe others that are not yet listed
This messagebox should be available at Shift+F1 ;-)
