https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=248715 ------- Comment #2 from lavrinenko_alex@mail.ru 2007-02-26 05:21 MST ------- a) the problem is that right now when I try to sync KDE's addressbook with Nokia 6233 via BT I get synced, but contacts in mobile phone look wrong (lost characters, only parts of long names, etc.). I did the following testcase: 1 - exported one contact from Kontact as vCard 2.1 (see v21.png attached) and sent it to mobile over BT with Bluetooth OBEX Object Push Client 2 - exported same contact as vCard 3.0 (see v30.png attached) and sent it to mobile again. In first case contact appeared on mobile scrambled and looked exactly the same as when I synced entire addressbook with KitchenSync (lost parts of name and surname, wrong characters in words). In second case I got exactly what was expected - no missing characters, all info in place and readable. Thus I decided that the only proper format for Nokia S40 3rd edition is vCard 3.0 rather then 2.1. I will post photos of mobile phone screens for 1st and 2nd cases later this evening (no camera right now available). c) workaround with moving necessary-to-sync contacts to separate resource is acceptable -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
