Summary: grub does not countdown on the boot menu and sticks on
the timeout value set in /boot/grub/menu.lst untill
enter is pressed
Product: SUSE Linux 10.1
Version: Final
Platform: i686
OS/Version: SuSE Linux 10.1
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Basesystem
AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: craigwharding@xxxxxxxxx
QAContact: qa@xxxxxxx

uname -a: Linux linux 2.6.16.13-4-default #1 Wed May 3 04:53:23 UTC 2006 i686
athlon i386 GNU/Linux

When booting the machine, the timeout value does not count down on the grub
multiboot menu until the keyboard Enter key is pressed to select what option
you want to boot.

This would be a major problem for servers that do not have a keyboard plugged
in.
