Invoke yast2 partitioner on a system with an extended partition. 2. Select that extended partition and invoke "Edit". 3. "Cancel" the dialog which appears (German title is "Bearbeiten einer erweiterten Partition /dev/hda3"). Despite canceling the dialog, YaST now issues a warning, translated back from German: "Warning: You changed the start or end cylinder. Make sure that the new extended partition provides sufficient space for all logic partitions."
