https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=242009 chusty@attglobal.net changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |chusty@attglobal.net ------- Comment #7 from chusty@attglobal.net 2007-02-08 22:00 MST ------- Vladimir#1 The dvd+RW was produced under suse 10.1 k3b. Then in one of the many installation attempts of SuSE 10.2 I believe I was able to add a couple of files. I tried empty one with the same results in previous 10.2 installations. This particular installation is as described clean, "fresh". I have not done anything so we can figure out what is wrong. I used all the installation defaults. Vladimir2. I did not select the ide-scsi for the burner. I will need it for the tape but I did not do or select anything but the defaults. Vladimir3: great finding thxs. That explains the problem Q1: why others do not have the same problem? Q2. Is this due to the fact I have an atapi tape in one of the controllers? Q3. Is this due to the fact I do not have IDE HDonly SATA? Kay6. Thank you will do it this Q4 The Sony ait tape requires the ide-scsi at least under 10.1. How can I do it if I prevent the loading of the ide-scsi?. Well one step at the time :-) THXS again all of you -=terry=- -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
