The link to the Novell Bugzilla for OpenSUSE 10.2 is for an RC version but the
error displayed on OpenSUSE 10.2 (final release) is similar. Is this possibly a
bug with either YAST or ZMD on OpenSUSE 10.2 or instead a corrupted metadata
file? I experienced the same error displayed for the past several days when
trying to add the listed repositories for both Gnome and KDE at
"http://software.opensuse.org/";. Though when I entered the same information
again today in YAST sources the repo for both Gnome and KDE updated YAST and
ZMD. The only issue I experienced this time with adding the repositories today
was a warning that the GPG key was unsigned. I did not have any issues adding
third party repositories such as for Packman repo listed here
http://en.opensuse.org/Additional_YaST_Package_Repositories
