This BIOS feature determines if the BIOS should provide legacy support for USB
devices. This is a useful feature when using such USB devices with operating
systems that do not natively support USB, which is not a case with Linux. On
the other hand, this legacy support is broken on some bioses and confuse the OS
drivers.

Did disabling the feature in BIOS change the behavior of your problem in any
sense?
