There are no error messages other than those which show up before I try opening: ** (gedit:10515): WARNING **: Could not load python module modelines ** (gedit:10515): CRITICAL **: gedit_plugin_update_ui: assertion `GEDIT_IS_PLUGIN (plugin)' failed ** (gedit:10515): CRITICAL **: gedit_plugin_update_ui: assertion `GEDIT_IS_PLUGIN (plugin)' failed These are the same as I get when I run gedit as a normal user.
