https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=227115 Summary: Latest qtcurve-gtk2 0.45.3-19.1 cause thunderbird to segfault Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: SuSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: joe_morris@ntm.org QAContact: qa@suse.de Just tried out some updates, and tracked down that the above package in Backports causes the x86_64 (all I run, don't know about i386) version of Thunderbird to segmentation fault when it tries to start thunderbird-bin. joe@jmorris:~> thunderbird /usr/bin/thunderbird: line 134: 14748 Segmentation fault $MOZ_PROGRAM $@ It faults with both 1.5.0.8 and the latest 1.99.1-34.2 versions. Just thought you ought to know. Downgrading back to 0.45.3-18 fixes the problem. I don't know, but there is also a -32bit package which was still at 0.45.3-18, I don't think but not sure it being a lower version would matter since thunderbird is an x86_64 version. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
