They don't do any harm. Of course I could output these error messages only if the system language is set to either Japanese or Chinese. But that doesn't make sense in my opinion. If the system has been installed in Japanese or Chinese, such fonts will most likely be installed and this warning will not appear anyway. Believe it or not, there are users who want to see Japanese and Chinese correctly although they run their systems in English locale. For such users this warning is very useful because it tells them that they need to install more fonts. If you don't need neither Japanese nor Chinese, why do you care?
