------- Comment #4 from andreas.hanke@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx 2006-10-21 13:34 MST -------
The logfile is from the successful installation where the user worked around
the problem by locking the package which caused this (yast2-theme-openSUSE):

ResolverInfo<LOCKED_PROVIDER> kdebase3-SuSE-10.2-30.x86_64[20061019-145500]
Important!>>yast2-theme-openSUSE-2.13.15-2.noarch[20061019-145500] provides
yast2-theme-openSUSE == 2.13.15-2, but it is locked.<<, Trigger: none

I suspect this to be the same issue as bug 181658. (Without the logfile from
the failed installation it's impossible to tell for sure.)

Bug 181658 claims to have this fixed in in yast2-pkg-bindings-2.13.100 and
yast2-packager-2.13.155. I will simulate the problem and check it as soon as
there is a beta with these package versions.

(Just for the records, 10.1 had this already and it broke a lot of
installations. Look at the duplicates of bug 181658. There are hardware
configurations where this happens repeatedly, and where ignoring a failed
package is the only way to get through the installation).
