Summary: No device node for PCMCIA CDROM
Product: SUSE Linux 10.1
Version: Final
Platform: x86
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Basesystem
AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: jengelh@xxxxxx
QAContact: qa@xxxxxxx

When plugging in the SONY PCGA-CD51/A (or DVD) drive into the PCMCIA slot, a
new IDE bus is registered (ide2). udevmonitor shows some activity that a new
bus has been added, but other than that does not take action to create the
device node. When I manually create /dev/hde, I can access the CDROM drive.
