OS/Version: SuSE Linux 10.1

I declare this a major bug on purpose.
On the many computers that I take care of and
that have to be booted and rebooted several times
per day, there is a choice between Windows and Linux
(not my decision). After switching on the mains power,
people go get a coffee or answer the telephone.
When they turn back to the computer, it has booted
the wrong OS. Wasted time 5-10 minutes. Why?
I have no problem with a default delay of 30 or 60
seconds. But I cannot accept the limitation of the
delay to 60 seconds. This has been there since 10.1
at least and I consider it a very serious bug for
my daily work.
