https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=214123 Summary: Install aborts and leaves mess when only one minor package cannot be read from DVD Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Alpha 5 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: SuSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: gh55@heinzel.name QAContact: jsrain@novell.com The DVD that I burned (10.2 alpha 5 x86_64bit) apparently had a read error in the package yast2-theme-openSUSE-2.13.15-2 , which fails with "not found". When I hit "ignore" the installation nevertheless immediately aborted and left my harddisk in a mess (GRUB not working etc.) I tried 3 times. After tricks (unselect this package) the installation went ok. Such a read error in one package should produce a graceful continuation and not an immediate abort. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
