https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=212528 Summary: Graphic Installation on small screen difficult Product: SUSE Linux 10.1 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: SuSE Linux 10.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: novell@skewray.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com I was installing SuSE 10.1 onto an embedded computer with a 6.1" 640x480 LCD screen, and ran into a problem. The installer detected the screen as 800x600, but since the screen was actually smaller, only the top left corner was visible. Using alt-F3 (?) should allow the user to change the screen size, but without seeing the screen, there is no way to put the mouse into the menu to choose the smaller screen size. I suggest putting the alt-menus at the top of the screen as a simple fix. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
