Boot Off DVD 2. Choose option 'Installation acpi Disabled' (acpi=off) 3. English (US) 4. Media Check (Start Check) ***It Passed OK*** 5. Accept Licence Agreement(OK) 6. Installation Mode - Selected 'New Installation' 7. *ERROR: 'Failed to initialize the Catalog. Try Again ?' 8. Abort Installation here. And goes back into text mode. 9. Reran (verify media/DVD) *Error: Checksum wrong. This CD-ROM is broken. - Its *Strange* I get no error in step 4 (Media Check) but when I run the media check later in step 9, and the media check fails. - I Tried a Update of existing installation as well, I got the same error(Failed to initialize the Catalogue. Try Again ?) I downloaded the DVD ISO to a Windows pc amd burnt the image http://ftp-1.gwdg.de/pub/opensuse/distribution/openSUSE-10.2-Alpha5/iso/open...
