The report is about the popup attached above.

I can reproduce it, but I'm not sure that this is a GNOME bug, because I have
the following in my /var/log/boot.msg:

acpid: loading ACPI modules ( ac battery button )
done
acpid: will not skip unsupported modules
acpid: loading ACPI laptop modules ( asus_acpi ibm_acpi )
done
acpid: loading CPUFreq modules
failed

I think that the actual bug is elsewhere, not in GNOME.
