This would help speeding up the boot time. In order for that to work, NM needs to be able to start the scripts in the correct order. The init process handles this by naming the scripts S01xxx, S02xxx, K01xxx, K02xxx etc. Basically, I'm proposing a way to start/stop scripts in a specific order. According to Bug#209358, this is the only way we can reach the goal.
