Comment 0: the find-*.ksyms scripts recognize and special-case kernel packages
by their name (kernel-$FLAVOR). The package in this case is just called
"kernel", so the scripts get it wrong.

This would be non-critical, except that the kernel packages contain way more
kernel modules than other packages, and so we run into the "argument list too
long" error.

You may want to check if the following two patches fix this problem.
