I don't see a need for OpenTasks, now that Boosters (and Marketing Team
and Board and Membership Team) are using Retrospectiva. How about
investing some time into Connect (missing) features?

Is connect and especially the missing feature set self-contained enough?
For instance can we run an instance on a server we bring (without the
stupid internets) and can we condense the list on the Connect page[1] to
a workable set that needs no interaction with 3rd parties?

If yes this sounds like a condidate. Its hip too :)
