Anas,
Some additional information regarding firstboot scripting issue.
I can manually run /usr/share/firstboot/script/first_boot_nld.sh and it
execs without error.
I also put an extremely simple script into the
/usr/share/firstboot/scripts directory:
#!/bin/bash
echo Hello World >> ./test.txt
echo `date` >> ./test.txt
exit 0
then turned on the firstboot service and touched /etc/reconfig_system
upon reboot, firstboot execs, but even the simple script still doesn't
run.
BTW: /var/log/YaST2/firstboot.log doesn't seem to be there.
Cheers,
T

Has anyone had any issues regarding adding scripts to the /usr/share/firstboot/scripts directory? I have added a customization script to that directory as the doc suggests, but it never runs. There is only one small paragraph about using scripts with firstboot on page18 in the doc. Is there some other piece of the puzzle I am missing?
Cheers, T
