I hit this error last week and the reason was that the installer didn't have permission to the yast/order and yast/instorder files that I had created in the installation source. Not sure if you're even using those files in this instance, but it would be a good idea to check the permissions on your serverdir subtree. -Carl Werner writes: Hi, I try to install a PC from local HDisk using a selfmade BootCD.
