Hi,
Hi there,
is it possible to use AutoYast2 in something like "textmode"? Some monitors just don't like the AutoYast-X11. If AutoYast was really unattended, this would not be a problem. But I usually get a Microsoft like Window "One package returned an error" and somebody has to click "Ok." ;-).
So I now have a half installed machine which I cannot even remote access.
Please tell me how I can persuade AutoYast not to use the (very attractive, I admit) Graphical User Interface.
Add 'textmode=1' to Your kernel-options in the PXE-configuration. My file /tftpboot/pxelinux.cfg/default looks like: DEFAULT linux label linux kernel linux say "installing SuSE-Linux via PXE..." append initrd=initrd.suse ramdisk_size=65536 \ autoyast=nfs://inst1/exports/autoinstall/ textmode=1 (the append-line continues at '\') Ciao, Carsten -- +++ GMX - Mail, Messaging & more http://www.gmx.net +++ Bitte lächeln!
