Install windows, this will overwrite mbr.
Then boot off of your SuSE install cd or dvd, and choose
"Installation".
Choose your language.
Select "Expert Tools".
select "Install New Boot Loader"
This will let you re-install your original dual boot
loader.
The windows settings should not need to be changed.

Hi folks--
I'm currently dual-booting XP and 10.0. Linux resides on a SATA drive, but the MBR is on an IDE /hda. Well, Windows is corrupt, and I need to reinstall it. I think I'm going to go back to W2K instead of XP.
Now, I know that W2K will rewrite the MBR and make SuSE unbootable. Is there an easy way to repair this? For example, will the automatic repair option fix it?
Thanks....
