When I restart my computer (yes, I know, linux should be running all day and night long), suse9.1 looses all sound-settings.
I have a VIA 823x rev60 (on board) with ALSA-driver. I have to delete the soundcard, add it again (quick setup) and everything works fine again.
Is there a kind of "save-feature/button" I missed?
Just installed the kernel 2.6.5-7.98cvs20040702142159 and my sound-problem seem to have vanished. I'll be examining the behaviour for the next few days...
Good job, SuSE!
