Here's an update of my update problem. I contacted support@suse.com, and was informed that some problems have been occurring with YOU. I was advised to try the updates again after they contacted me, and I did, and this time, it seemed to have worked. I did not have to change anything, so it looks like the fixes were done entirely on the portal server end. However, the tech support did have some procedures that I shoudl try in case it still did not work. I am glad I did not have to implement those. eyc
