Installation problem at raid-0 set at Sil3114 controller at dual- opteron motherboard

Hello All, I have DUAL-opteron matherboard "tyan thunder k8w". I am blocked with a following problem during SUSE 9(AMD64) installation: SUSE installer fails to detect the Raid-0 set created at SiliconImage 3114 controller. As it becomes clear from here: http://beau.org/pipermail/whitebox-devel/2003-December/000561.html and from this thread: http://lists.suse.com/archive/suse-amd64/2003-Dec/0014.html it is still a problem, so any comments/hints/answers are greatly appreciated.
